Airforia is more than a fragrance whose purpose is to scent or mask scent, airphoria establishes a whole new category: functional fragrance, referring to products whose formulas are designed to effect body and mind in distinct and verifiable ways that are non-toxic and non-damaging to the delicate systems at work inside and around us.

For millennia, plants have been used to treat a variety of ailments and their effects have been well documented. While our modern pharmaceutically addicted society has dismissed centuries of practice using treatments found in nature in favor of a quick fix. Often pharmacology invites new ailments while masking the conditions meant to alert the body that something is not well. In the process, it has gradually wreaked havoc on our eco-systems in tangible ways that are presently coming to the fore.

Our formulas are traditional blends of plant essential oils; we refer to them as plant actives owing to their living, potent activity. These oils have been used in traditional medicine to treat stress, depression, fatigue, restlessness, anxiety and countless other ailments.

Essential oils can be thought of as the soul of the plant. Despite modern medicine's dismissal, the healing powers of plants have always been understood. In fact, scientific laboratories have tried to isolate and chemically extract the functional elements of these plants, but the complexities of nature are not readily unfurled. Essential oils contain complex molecules that work synergistically with each other, meaning that when one element is removed the true essence of the plant is lost, leaving a chemical representation of a desired element.

Jasmine Spray
30 ml

Jasmine Sambac essential oil carried in an organic, bio-dynamically grown grape alcohol to best disperse the molecules. These blends are safe to breathe, unlike the heavy chemical constituents that make up other fragrances. Everything is natural and safe for the body.

The oils linger in the air, alive and active, with the ability to effect upon contact. The top notes provide bright flashes of energy initially, before giving way to the more settling effects of the base notes, which linger.

Usage

For use in one's personal environment, e.g., the bedroom, bathroom and in the car, on linens and on clothes. For an arousing quick pick-me-up, to soothe, to clear one's mind, or to place one in a more grounded state for meditation or reflection. Use to welcome guests, to enhance a sense of romance, or to prepare for a settled night's sleep.
